Joan G. Wilder, affectionately called "Joanie" majored in Theater & Television Arts with a concentration in acting at Valparaiso University. This gave her a wonderful perspective and understanding of what goes on behind the scenes of theatrical productions, as well on stage or in front of the camera.
Joan has used this knowledge to enhance her performance skills in various areas of the Performing Arts. She is a trained dancer, actor, model and singer, but she has spent the past six years working in the field of retirement benefits.
She began dancing at the age of three and became an instructor of ballet, lyrical, modern and jazz dance at the age of nineteen. She does freelance choreography for different organizations and is the primary choreographer for the Southlawn U.M.C. Dancing Doves.
Following the lead of her older brother Jason she became interested in pursuing modeling in high school. As a professional full figured runway model and commentator she walked many runways in the Chicago land area.
Currently she is a style expert for Lane Bryant where she helps full figured women choose clothes that fit their bodies, enhance there beauty and their confidence. So if you want "drama" you've come to the right place, because Joanie will teach you!
